Along the way, she highlights their perspectives on changes in FMCSA enforcement, continued investment in AI, automation, and tracking, growing cost pressure tied to warehousing and real estate ownership, and how 3PLs are responding to the broader market shift overall.
Then, we get into the continued growth of the Women in Supply Chain initiative she founded - including why she saw a need to start the award and forum in the first place. She talks about how women’s visibility and opportunities in the industry have improved over time (though much slower than she'd prefer), and why building community through in-person connection remains so valuable. She discusses this year's Women in Supply Chain Forum, which returns to Charleston this November, and shares why this year’s focus on self-advocacy is especially timely for supply chain professionals of any gender across the industry.
