Keeping freight moving takes a lot of parties responsible for a lot of moving parts. On this episode of The Intermodal Logistics Podcast, learn about a new (sort of) service aimed at keeping those moving parts... moving. Direct ChassisLink (DCLI) just launched RapidLink Repairs in March, and VP of Sales Rob Finch joins us to talk about why - and what it does for the industry.
Rob explains how RapidLink evolved from DCLI's well-regarded Road Service, which handled repair and maintenance of its own equipment, to a service that is open to anyone. He tells us how its national scale makes for consistency in response times and competitiveness (and transparency) in pricing.
For those looking to use RapidLink, Rob lets us know how to sign up - and how it works for both scheduled maintenance as well as emergency roadside response. We also go over the state of equipment across the U.S., which has been an ongoing focus for DCLI, and new technology that's only helping.
